Conditions of Entry 2011
1. Entry forms to be returned by Monday 23 May 2011 to:

2. There is a non-refundable entry fee of $11.00 (incl GST) per work with a maximum of 4 works
per entrant. NB Late entry fee $20 per work.
3. All paintings are to be the original work of the artist and must be suitably presented, framed,
ready to hang and clearly labelled on the back with the artist’s name, title of work and price
(including 22% commission).
4. Paintings are to be delivered between 11am and 3pm on 4 and 5 June 2011
to King Valley

5. Any transport and insurance costs must be met by the artist. All possible care will be taken
but no liability will be accepted by the organisers for any loss or damage to works of art.
6. Please indicate how work is to be delivered and collected. Works can be collected on Tuesday
14 June 2011 between 10am and 2pm. Works not collected will be stored at artist’s own risk.
7. If there is insuffcient space to hang all works, the organisers reserve the right to not display
some works. However, all works will be judged.
8. The organisers reserve the right to photograph works for publicity purposes.
Sales and Commissions
1. All works must be for sale.
2. If the artist is registered for GST the price will include GST and the work will be marked
accordingly.
3. A commission of 22% (incl GST) will be charged on all sales. The KVTA has an ABN (46 586 490
786) and is registered for GST. A tax invoice for the value of the commission including GST will
be provided to the artist allowing artists registered for GST to claim a tax input credit for the
commission component. The tax invoice and proceeds of sales will be forwarded to artists
within 28 days of the close of the Art Show.
Awards and eligibility
1. All works will be judged for the Grand Winner and and People's Choice. Each entry will be
judged according to price and medium. In addition, non acquisitive awards will apply to all
entries subject to entry fullling the criteria:
Printmaking - any traditional printmaking mediums
Works On Paper - any medium on paper (excl. photographic and digitally produced artworks).
Local Scene - any medium. Subject must be within a radius of 50km from King valley Cucina.
Local Artist is an artist who resides within a 50km radius of King valley Cucina.
2. Photographic and digitally produced artworks will not be accepted. This covers all awards.
3. Awards may not be presented if, in the opinion of the judge, works are not of a sufficiently
high standard to merit an award for that section.
4. Where a prize winner of an acquisitive award is registered for GST, the artist will provide a tax
iinvoice to the KVTA for the value of the award plus GST. It will then be the responsibility of the
artist to remit the GST collected to the ATO.
